Here's an archive of my little homepage greetings. I started doing this with the big web-page update in December 2000.

Hello,

It’s been quite the couple weeks. I’ve been commuting back and forth between Stamford CT every day to act in bobrauschenbergamerica up there. It’s been going quite well. Thanks to everybody who’s come up to support us. We close on Sunday and then head to the Kranert Center in Champagne/Urbana IL for one performance there on the 5th of October.

Akiko and I will then be in Chicago for a series of workshops from the 7th through the 13th.

bobrauschenbergamerica will then be at Chicago PAC from the 17th through the 20th.

Mail me if you are interested in details about any of this stuff.

It's been quite a busy summer. I was in Juneau, San Diego and Los Angeles. Adding this to the stint in San Fransisco in May and it's been the year of the West Coast for me.

Anyway. I'm in New York. I'm in rehearsals for bobrauschenbergamerica which is being remounted for tour. We will be in Stamford CT for 9 shows this month and then the Kranert Center in Champaigne Urbana, and the PAC in Chicago.

On the computer front, I am in the process of migrating towards OSX. I have installed it on my G4 tower and will soon do the same with my Powerbook. I also recently made the move to broadband internet with Earthlink Cable. Yeeha!.

It was a great session in Saratoga Springs this year. One of the best sessions ever. As a result I was very busy and have gotten a bit behind in terms of correspondence etc. I'm back in New York city for a day or two before heading up to Juneau Alaska for a training session at Perseverance theatre there called Cross-Training. This is the third year for Cross-Training, and it has been growing every year.

I'm doing a lot of spell-checking and other little fixes on the new design. Still a couple of things that are incomplete or are weird. When I get this stuff fixed I'll work on getting the shop online.

I'm currently in Saratoga Springs for the SITI summer intensive.

So this is another pretty big re-design of the site. All in the pursuit of a more professional look and feel. I hope you like it. Let me know if there is anything missing that you really miss. I know there's a bunch of little spelling errors and other glitches. I'm working on them.

I'm currently in San Fransisco teaching a workshop.

OK... So I haven't updated the site in awhile...

I spent March in Louisville acting in the SITI Company's new piece "bobrauschenbergamerica".

I then went up to Juneau Alaska to direct MOBY DICK at Perseverance Theatre. It was fantastic being back in Juneau. I did quite a bit of hiking and other outdoors kind of things. The work was good. I am becoming more and more fascinated Inupiaq and other Alaskan native cultures.

Today, I head up to Saratoga Springs for another summer intensive with the SITI Company.

See Ya...

Getting back to some more work on the site. So things might look bumpy.

After spending a couple weeks in Baton Rouge LA, teaching at LSU, I'm back in New York. Spending some time getting ready to act (it's been a few years) with SITI in "bobrauschenbergamerica" at the Humana Festival. The most difficult preperation involves things like growing my hair out and adding sideburns and a moustache to my mugg.

Thanks to a gift from a friend (Hi Rick), I'm now a big espresso nut. At the same time, I've radically reduced my caffeine intake. I make a 3 to 1 blend of decaf to caf coffee for my machine and drink just as much of the rich black elixir as I ever have but with a quarter the narcotic.

Trying to do more reading than I have been lately. It does a body good.

See Ya...

The updates on the site continue. I am adding content as well as continuing to re-design the look. Somethings might look bumpy for a while but I'm working on it. Feedback is playing a role so don't be shy. Lots of new links in the Links section.

I have been going to the dojo again and basically getting myself kicked into a pulp. Akiko is now a First level Brown Belt which means she is almost a Black Belt. I'm still paddling around the shallow end of the pool with my orange belt.

Well here it is! The website has been updated in a major way. Not everything is done yet but it's a big step forward from where it was. The "Production" section has been radically changed and expanded. I hope you like the changes and feel free to let me know what you think.

I am back in NY for a bit now. I have some work to do at home, so will be keeping busy but I'm around for awhile.

See Ya...

There is an archive of old greeting messages if you want to catch up. You can find it here.
