The donors wanted to know from the government, why Mr. Larma
has not been allowed to go to the USA. They said that the government should
allow him to go to the USA.
Yesterday, some representatives of the donor countries raised this
question in the ongoing meeting of Bangladesh Development Forum.
Yesterday, on Sunday while the session on "Good governance and Human
Security" was in progress some representatives of the donor countries
had raised this question. In this context they also mentioned that even
after a long time since signing the CHT Peace accord the question of
security is still prevailing there. The project planning for development of
the CHT region could not be drawn and implemented properly. They wanted
the government to ensure security and peace to restart the development
activities of the region.
