The Danish government will provide financial assistance of taka 27 lakhs in rehabilitation program for the victim families of the Mahalchari incident. On Wednesday it has been informed in press briefing from the Danish embassy. It was further mentioned in the same press briefing that the money will be spent in the UN Humanitarian response program for the Mahalchari victim families.
In this regard the UNDP representative of Bangladesh Jorgen Listener signed a MoU with the Danish Embssador to Bangladesh on last Tuesday.
