It has been reported that there was an exchange of fire between the army
and "terrorist" at Bhairava under Dhiginala Upazila on last Monday.
After exchange of fire the army personnel captured three arms and
ammunition from that area. The military source said, from 6th October
within one week the military captured seven fire arms and 404 rounds of
bullets.
The source further informed that there was encounter for several times
between the army and the terrorist at midnight. It was reported that the
terrorist attacked the army first and the military had fired at them as
a response. The army recovered two muskets and a pipe-gun and 58 rounds
bullets of AK-47 rifle left by the terrorist while escaping. Major
Anayet had led this operation against the terrorist.
