The 72-hour road blockade called by the repatriated Jumma Refugees Welfare Association (RJRWA) to press home their 22-point demands began yesterday in Khagrachhari.
Meantime, UPDF-supported Pahari Chhatra Parishad-PCP (Hill Students’ Council) yesterday vehemently condemned Secretary of CHT Affairs Ministry Mustaque Ahmed’s statement that says "no judicial probe is needed as no government agency is concerned in the Mahalchhari incident."
A statement signed by student leader Anil Bikash Chakma said tougher movement
would be launched if judicial inquiry commission is not formed.
