Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) will resume its development activities in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) from January next. Team leader of the DANIDA, Carel P M de Groot, told this while he met the Bandarban Hill District Council Chairman Mamya Ching and Deputy Commissioner Hafizur Rahman at their offices Wednesday.
He also exchanged ideas with other government officials, public representatives
and local leaders separately during his visits to the CHTs.
According to official sources, DANIDA will implement various projects in remote
tribal villages of Bandarban, Rangamati and Khagrachhari hill districts.
Sources said, all other international development organisations will also resume
their development works in the CHTs from January next.
