KHAGRACHHARI, July 17: Chairman of Khagrachhari Hill District Council, Nakhratra Lal Deb Barman and members of Law and Land Sub-committee of Chittagong Hill Tract Regional Council at a meeting reviewed overall law and order situation here on Tuesday.
Different issues including specifying the status of the Chairman of the Hill District Council, specifying the status of the members of the Council and amendment to Hill Local Government Rules also came up for discussion.
The meeting held at Khagrachhari District Council office was attended by Gautam Kumar Chakma, Sudha Sindhu Khisha, Raktatpal Tripura, Nurul Alam, Uchattha Roaza, Sukriti Ranjan Chakma, Jhumki Chakma, Advocate Razib Chakma, Nakkhatra Lal Debbarman, M Harun Ur Rashid, Syed Harun Or Rashid and Priya Kumar Chakma.
Sources said that the meeting has decided to submit subject-wise proposals
on three hill districts council and the regional council.
